When you think of Christmas, of course you'll think of PRESENTS!!! Right? RIGHT? And usually, during Christmas time, I am always broke. Have to buy presents for eeeeeeeeveryone. Not that I mind though. Luckily I have two sisters to share my burden. I'm not sure about you and how your family give gifts. I know some families who just do gift exchange, which means, they only buy for one person, and they also get one present for themselves. My family buys for everyone and get presents from everyone, which I love, because that means I get loads and loads and loads coz I have kind of a big family, yay!
Another thing is, we do not open presents on Christmas day because on Christmas day, we have our annual Christmas lunch open house thingy so we won't have time and everyone is already tired. So, we usually open on boxing day, which is the 26th. Everyone will gather at my grandparent's house and bring ALL their presents.
My grandparents will open their presents first. I forgot to take their pictures =( I gave them a photo frame with pictures of my sisters and I with them.
After that, we start from the youngest member of the family, who gets to open their presents first. For now, it's Mikhail or Buhavan as my grandparents call him! See la, his mummy force him to read who yang give him the present. I gave him some books coz he likes to read.
Next is Rodney aka Oni Oni! I gave him a notebook from Individium that says "Always Hungry", WHICH IS TRUE!
Next would be Alyssa aka Kabe aka my sister! I gave her some bracelets and a Starbucks Card.
Next, Sidney Suchart aka Suchart! I gave him a notebook that says "Fitness Freak" coz he's into sports.
Next, Giovanni Gabriel aka Gio Gio! I gave him a notebook that says "Smarty Pants". In the picture, he's holding a book my other cousin, Astra, gave him which is a "comprehensive guide to the extraordinary world of mediums, psychic and the afterlife" because he can see ghosts. Seriously.
Next in line, Angela aka Ler Ler aka my stupid sister. I also gave her bracelets and a Starbucks Card. Why did I say that she's stupid? Just look at her =.=. And no, this is NOT the only photo of her looking like an idiot. Even her friends said to her "Angela, you cannot ka take pictures like normal?"
Sam joined us this year! He also got present haha! I gave him his present earlier coz I didn't know he was joining us. I gave him a notebook which says "Syok Sendiri" coz he memang.
Then, next is Jaclyn Kelly Tay aka Tuffy........ and I forgot to take her picture....... SORRY BAAAA..... maybe too entertaining already her part then I also forgot, hehe. BUT, i took picture when her bf Bobby Lu something something aka Bobby opened his present! First time joining us as well =) Oh, I gave Tuffy a necklace with a cross (gantung leher hehehehehe *inside joke*), but I didn't get Bobby anything ehehe.. sorry.
NEXT! ME HEHEHEHEHE! Kanak-kanak riang. Mummy gave me the red bag from China, I LIKE! Got another beige snake skin one also, I also like! hehe!
Collect Christmas Angpau from Bank Pertanian, Bank Rakyat and Bank..... forgot what again the other "bank" name hahaha. Me and Gio Gio balik-balik say Bank Muamalat hahaha. Oh, and Bank Negara aka my grandpa also gave me moneyyy!
After me, supposed to be Aaron Tay aka Ajun, but he didn't come. I gave him a notebook that says "Internet Junkie". So, no Ajun, next in line is Astra! I gave her a charm bracelet.
Next is Kimberly Tay aka Kakak Kim! I also gave her a charm bracelet!
Next was her boyfriend, Aric.. but I didn't take picture also hehehe.. Sorry.
So, grandchildren done, next is the children's turn! This lot my sisters yang urus the presents for them coz I urus the cousins hehe. Gave all aunties a shopping bag, you know, the ones you bring so that you don't need to take the plastic bags given by the stores. GO GREEN! Gave all uncles handkerchiefs.
The youngest of the lot, the overgrown baby, Aunty Debbie! Also opening presents given to her husband, my Uncle Walter and he just look from far. OH OH! Both of them gave each other presents and guess what it was? They gave each other an iPhone 4S! So, basically it's like buying for themselves but, yeah.
Next, RSD aka Aunty Na! Her boyfriend Rico couldn't come this year =( So, she had to pass all our presents to him when she went back to KL. Oh, and Rico gave her an iPhone 4S! Gilaaaaa. When la my boyfriend wanna give me iPhone dis.
Then my uncle Hilary Disimond aka Abang! He's also opening the presents given to his wife, my aunty Flavia.
Next is Jenney Peter Disimon, my mummy!! I gave her a dress/blouse. Dunno she can fit or not, if not then I take hahahahhaa! My daddy did not come. He came only later after we've finished.
Then, next is Jane Disimond aka Aunty Jean!
After her, Rita Disimond aka Mama Ita! Also opening for my uncle, Papa Polo. My cousin Astra gave her parents a digital camera and a tablet - Motorola Xoom! Fuiyooo!
Finally it's her turn! Every year, she's the last one coz she's the eldest hahaha! Rose Disimond aka Big Mama! Also opening the presents for my Uncle Kevin. And she's also my sister, Angela, and my Godmother. We gave her a personal gift which is a clutch from Dorothy Perkins!
After she finishes then, our "Open presents" session is done! And it normally takes a few hours. Like 3-4 hours I think? But, it's fun! We get to see all the weird stuff others give and question their intention of giving such a thing or even laugh at it if we think the thing is funny, hahaha! And also the nice stuff where everyone will get jealous (like the iPhone 4S-es, digi cam and tablet)!
I can't wait for this year's Christmas again!
