Like all the other Christmases, in the morning, I'll attend Christmas Mass with my family. After church, we had to rush to get ready to go to my Grandma's house for our annual Christmas Lunch. Only had an hour to get ready!
Anyway, every Christmas, my family (mum's side, coz my dad's side doesn't actually celebrate I think?) will have a dress theme. Last year was denim, this year, it's ANIMAL PRINTS! I made up my mind since the theme was picked in..... April (?) that I will not, WILL NOT wear leopard prints because it's the easiest to find so, of course, a lot of people will be wearing it. So, I chose there and then that I'll wear.....
Snake print! I LOVE this dress! Snake print dresses are sooooo hard to find, like seriously, it is!! Trust me, I searched Pavilion, Sungei Wang, 1U, The Curve, Sunway Pyramid and whatever mall you can find here in KL, and I couldn't find a nice, decent and not so expensive one. So, my last resort is the internet. I got this dress from the USA! Haha, you guys can check out the website here:http://www.hotmiamistyles.com/. The quality is actually good, I love it. I thought their S size would be a liiiiiitle big but surprisingly it was a little small. But it was still okay =)
Anyway! More pics of animal prints cladded people!
My family and....
Our shoes! The left one's mine! Ok, fine, not mine. I mean, I wore them, but the shoes are my mum's, also snake printed.
With my grandparents.
My sisters and my mummy. I must say, she does look like she's one of us and not my mum, haha. She's also in snake prints which she bought last minute from the Philippines. Oh wait, my sister's clothes are from the Philippines as well, haha! But, even if my mum did not buy that dress, she has a ton of animal prints dresses back home. Queen of animal prints. Her wardrobe is SERIOUSLY FILLED with animal prints. Don't even start about her shoes. Tsk tsk. But the good thing is, I can fit her clothes, so I get to wear whatever nice stuff she has too, yay!
My cousin, Astra. The only picture I have with a cousin. I don't know where are the other pictures with other cousins. Lol.
The siblings aka my aunties, mum and uncle!
And of course he came by.
Every year we get the party started with two Christmas carols/songs. Yep, just two, every year. Haha. This year we sang, Do They Know It's Christmas by Band Aid and another is a Christmas medley. And oh! Look at our hats! We custom made it to fit our theme. My idea, thank u thank u.
After the guests were mesmerized (okay, more like deafened) by our carols, it's time to eat! AND THIS IS MY FAVOURITE!! EVERY YEAR, without fail, this will be my favourite food there!
LAMB!!! Thank God for the delicioussosososososssss lamb! Lamb of God. Hahaha, okay, sorry, inappropriate joke.
We have like around 200 guests? But this year's crowd wasn't as much as last year's.
We had a few activities and games for kids and adults.
This was from the dance medley game. I think they're jamming to BonJovi's It's My Life which was one of the songs in the medley.
My mummy dancing to "The Lion Sleeps Tonight".
We also had an ice-cream truck this year, like last year. Although we had Caprilla's last year which was sooooo much better than this one. The ice-cream this year was not good at all =(
My cousin Rodney aka oni oni as the santa claus. Like every year.
I get a picture with Santa too bah! Hehe. He's big right. Yea, he's just form one this year (2012).
After that it was all, chill and relax, chit chat. Nothing much. I think around 6 or 7pm most of the guests have already left. There were of course quite a few who stayed back to karaoke and moginum. Biasa la orang kadazan. Manada party kadazan tiada karaoke dan moginum, hahaha.
All in all, it was fun. Great company and entertainment =)
Merry Christmas!
